I’m a former night shift RN and mama of four. After years in healthcare, I chose overnights because I thought it would give my family more freedom. I could make more money, avoid daycare, and be home with my kids during the day.

But after five years, I realized the schedule I thought would give me freedom was actually taking so much more from me.

I was beyond exhausted, missing moments even though I was home, and the constant stress took a huge toll on my physical and mental health. I didn’t feel like myself anymore, and living opposite schedules started affecting my marriage and adding even more weight to a season I was already struggling through.

That’s what led me to start searching and praying for another way.
